Guest Speaker: Dr. Rick Shope—Water & Sanitation Education Programs for Kids

Dr. Richard Shope is a returning guest speaker who will provide an update on the special science education programs he is continuing to provide in our area for youth. A previous talk was on the Eco-Voices project he put together with the Youth Science Center providing ecological and water program for students at the Discovery Science Center near the 605/60 freeway interchange. As Water and Sanitation is the focus for Rotary in March an update on his educational work is most timely. Dr. Shope is a leading expert on science education and he is a Rotarian active with the Walnut Valley Rotary Club.
