District 5300 will be holding the next Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) event on Saturday, June 9th at the University of Phoenix in Ontario, CA.
RLI is a powerful series of one day training events and quality leadership development courses. It is one of the most effective member engagement and leadership development programs available. The skills you learn will impact your club, community, business, church and family lives. We encourage all Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact members, as well as their guests to join us.

Who is it for?
Rotary Leadership Institute is for all Rotarians who want to grow and develop their ability to serve and lead others. We encourage club board members, committee chairs and especially new members to join us.
Why?
The mission of The Rotary Leadership Institute is to strengthen our Rotary clubs through quality leadership education. RLI trains and builds depth in club members, it fast tracks the on-boarding process of new members, and it exposes all attendees to the bigger picture of Rotary. Participants are inspired and energized by stories of Rotarians who are making a difference in their communities.
How does it work?
• The basic RLI program is composed of three – one day training events
• Each training day is a standalone event that has 5 or 6, fifty minute sessions run by highly experienced, motivated Rotarians. Each session is designed to expose the participants to the larger world of Rotary and teach basic leadership skills that apply not only to Rotary, but to all aspects of life.
• The sessions keep lecturing to a minimum. They’re highly interactive – discussion groups, role-playing, problem solving workshops, group planning exercises, etc. It’s a fun and engaging way to learn. The program will motivate the participants to be enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Rotarians.
For more in-depth information on the program please check out our Southern California/Nevada RLI website at www.scnrli.org.
